2. On the 'Network (DICOM)' screen, press the Down key seven times,
followed by the Confirm key to select 'Add modality'.
3. The 'Collect info' screen is displayed, asking you to gather the appropriate
information on the new modality (see your System Administrator if
necessary):
-Modality type
-Modality AE title
4. Press the Confirm key to continue, or the Escape key to quit the procedure
without any changes.
If you press the Confirm key, the 'Enter daily used Modality name' screen
is displayed:
5. Enter the daily used modality name (nickname) by means of the arrow
keys. The nickname is limited to 8 characters.
6. Press the Confirm key to store the data, or the Escape key to quit the
procedure without any changes.
The 'Select modality brand name' screen is displayed:
7. Press the up/down arrow keys to select the appropriate modality brand
name.
If you have selected 'Default profile', the modality AE-title will be linked
with the default settings. Proceed with step 10.
8. Press the Confirm key to store the data, or the Escape key to quit the
procedure without any changes.
The 'Select modality type' screen is displayed:
9. Press the up/down arrow keys to select the appropriate modality type.
10. Press the Confirm key to store the data, or the Escape key to quit the
procedure without any changes.
The 'Enter modality AE-title' screen is displayed.
11. Enter the modality AE-title by means of the arrow keys.
The modality AE-title is limited to 16 characters.
