INFINITY DELTA / KAPPA QUICK REFERENCE GUIDE
TO DISPLAY ALL MONITORED LEADS
1.
Use Rotary knob to highlight HR parameter box, click.
2.
Use Rotary knob to select Show All Leads, click.
3.
Use Rotary knob to highlight REPORT, click. A non-diagnostic
ECG Report will be sent to the networked laser printer.
TO ACTIVATE PACEMAKER DETECTION
1.
Use Rotary knob to highlight HR parameter box, click

Use Rotary knob to highlight ECG Options, click.
3.
Use Rotary Knob to highlight Pacer Detection, On, click
o Always keep pacemaker patients under close surveillance
and monitor their vital signs carefully.
o Make sure pacer detection is turned OFF for patients with-
out pacemakers and turned ON for patients with pacemak-
ers. Always verify that the pacer detection status is correct
for the patient.
o Disabling pacemaker detection for paced patients may result
in pacemaker pulses being counted as regular QRS com-
plexes, which could prevent an asystole alarm from being
detected.
o Be aware that setting the ECG filter option to ESU disables
pacemaker detection automatically.
o See pg. 5 for alternate lead placement for pacemaker.
