Important
Failure to strictly follow the instructions can cause problems and invalidate the warranty on the valves
supplied.
PERIODIC INSPECTIONS REQUIRED
Before any kind of operation, set the valve in safety condition.
To avoid crusts formation, damages or clogging of the valves installed on silos, first clean them inside and then
the surrounding area, taking care to avoid dust dispersal.
The following indications must be strictly followed:
On a weekly basis:
- Check for dust in the area around the valve, remove the cover to clean encrustation that may be present,
make sure the two membranes move freely.
- Make sure the outlet is clear of material residues: if necessary, remove all obstruction in the material pas-
sage.
Monthly basis:
- Check the gasket for wear, especially with granular materials which can be the cause of rapid wear. In such
cases, contact the Manufacturer.
Every six months:
- Ensure perfect legibility and good condition of the rating plate. In case of obvious deterioration contact the
Manufacturer for a copy.
Yearly:
- Carry out complete revision of the valve (see disassembly/reassembly) with replacement of the membranes
and thorough cleaning of all the elements after revision.
Every 2 years:
- In any case, replace the springs, bellows and all the gaskets present.
Important
Part replacement depends on the use of the valve and type of material handled.
