locking screw in fully clockwise. This will lock the throttle trigger and prevent any unauthorised
practical use of the machine. When you are ready to re-use, unscrew the locking screw fully
clockwise.
Factory set position of throttle

Note: Check that blades, chains, brush cutter blade or grass trimmer will not run at an
idling revolution. If the blade rotates even a little using. A Philips head screwdriver, lower the
idling speed by adjusting the carburetor as shown in the picture below
9.4. Pull the recoil starter 2-3 times until you hear
the engine starting.
9.5. Push the choke lever down to the run
position (warm start).
9.6. The engine may start, or it may be required
to pull on the recoil starter until the engine starts.
9.7. Allow the engine to run idle for around 10
seconds to let it warm up.
9.8. To engage the drive, squeeze the safety
lever and throttle trigger.
9.9. Safety Throttle Locking Control
Normally we recommend that you always
switch the engine off when setting the machine
down. Obviously common sense should be used,
so for example, if you set the machine down and
intend to re-use it almost immediately, there are
no on-lookers and you do not walk away from the
immediate site, there should be no problem to let
the machine idle.
If you do this, as an extra safety precaution
we've included a safety throttle locking control
that prevents the throttle from being used.
Please note: The locking screw is set at
'unlocked' (fully screwed out anti-clockwise) at
the factory allowing full use of the throttle.
To actuate the locking mechanism, screw the
Throttle control screw fully
locked position.
