Debug Port Setting

UBC-221 can communicate with a host server (Windows or Linux) by using serial
cables. Common serial communication programs such as HyperTerminal, Tera Term
or PuTTY can be used in this case. The example as below describes the serial termi-
nal setup using HyperTerminal on a Windows host:

Connect UBC-221 with your Windows PC by using a debug cable. (optional
accessory, 1700021565-01)

Open HyperTerminal on your Windows PC, and select the settings as shown in
Figure 3.1.

After the bootloader is programmed on the SD card, plug in the power cord to
power up UBC-221. The bootloader prompt will be displayed on the terminal
screen.
