UV LAMP PARAMETERS
Setting UV lamp ON period
Use the following procedure to change the setting of the UV lamp ON period:
1. Go to the Tools #1 screen (Menu Tools#1).
Press "UV Setting" to display the UV Setting
screen.
2. Enter the required settings. Press "Apply" to save
the settings.
Settings
• UV Timer:
The time for which the UV lamp remains lit after closing the outer door.
Settable range: 0 minutes–30 minutes; factory setting: 10 minutes.
Notes:
• It is recommended that the UV Timer is set for 10 minutes. A lower setting may result in insufficient
disinfection.
• When the UV timer is set at 0, the UV lamp does not light.
• UV Life:
The total time for which the UV lamp has been lit is displayed as a percentage of the 5,000 hours before
replacement is recommended (It is impossible to alter this setting).
• UV Timer Ext.:
As the UV lamp is used, its UV ray output progressively declines. To compensate for this, the lighting time
is automatically extended as the lifetime of the UV lamp increases (The setting of UV Timer is unchanged).
Extension rate: 0 %–40 % (impossible to alter); factory setting: 0 %.
For example, if UV Timer is set to 10 minutes and UV Timer Ext. is 40 %, then the UV lamp lights for 14
minutes.
• Frequency:
Frequency of the power supply. Press button for 50 Hz or 60 Hz. Factory setting: 50 Hz.
