8.10.8 Cleaning and disinfection
CAUTION
The operating light is hot after use. Clean and disinfect the lamp after it cools
down completely.
CAUTION
A special care should be taken for the reflector and light cover to avoid scratches
during cleaning and handling.
▶ Clean handle covers with a neutral detergent and sterilize them with an autoclave
around 134 ℃ for 3 minutes.
When disassembling, hold the handle body with one hand and pull out the cover
with the other hand.

8.11 Distilled water tank system (Option)
▶ If a distilled water tank is installed,
both tap water and distilled water can be used.
▶ How to use a distilled water tank
1) Turn off the 'AIR' toggle valve in the junction box
to deflate air from the water bottle.
CAUTION
If the water bottle is disconnected without deflating air, what remained in the
bottle may spurt out due to high air pressure.
2) Disconnect the water bottle from the rear side of the unit.
3) Fill the bottle with water. Put back the inlet tube into the
bottle and connect it to the unit.
CAUTION
When working with a distilled water bottle, pay attention to avoid water
contamination by touching the tube with unclean hands.
4) Turn ON the 'AIR' toggle valve and set the 'WATER
SUPPLY' toggle valve to 'BOTTLE'.
Then distilled water is supplied to instruments.
