Interlock Operation

X-ray generation stops automatically whenever the Interlock system is interrupted. The
Interlock system may be interrupted due to user action, i.e., opening the chamber door,
or a fault in the system, such as a failed switch or a fault in the Interlock system wiring.
An error message may be generated and displayed on the monitor, depending on the
cause of the interruption.
System messages will be displayed when the chamber door is opened during an x-ray
exposure. The messages will vary depending on whether the system is in 2D or 3D (CT)
imaging mode.
