Quick Start – Basic Operation of the Faxitron

System Start-Up
Caution:
The Faxitron CT has a battery back-up which allows the system to be moved without
powering down. However, the system must be on mains power when capturing
images, including during calibration.
Note
This start-up sequence must be followed to ensure proper system function and image
quality.

Turn the power on to the Faxitron CT
System by switching the mains power
switch located on the back of the
system above the power cord outlet.
Switch to "I" for "Power ON".
Turn the Faxitron CT System "ON" by
pressing the ON/OFF button, located
on the front panel.
The computer and monitor, and the
touch screen on the front of the system
will all power up.
Ideally, allow the system to warm up
for 30 minutes before calibration and
image acquisition.
From the Windows desktop,
double-click on the Software
icon. A Password
Authentication Screen will
open.
Enter the password provided, then
click the Submit button to enter the
software.
