6.1.1 Setting the 5026 minimum ventilation (Stage 1)
1. Go to Cycle On.
2. Select Cycle.
3. Set the required parameters:
Cycle: Total cycle time
•
Min On: The minimum amount of time that the fans run
•
Change Step (%): The increase/decrease of fan time. For example, when the change is set to
•
10% and the fan is on for 50 seconds, it increases to 55 seconds.
Change Delay: The time, in seconds, before any change in cycle time occurs.
•
NOTE Even though Change Step and Change delay are set here, they only take effect during Stage 2.
4. Go to Stage 1.
5. Set the following parameters):
Temp On: Set the differential above the target temperature at which the fans begin (Band in
•
Figure 15)
Temp Off: Set the differential above the target temperature at which the fans end (Diff in Figure
•
15)
MV. Off: Set the differential below the target temperature at which MV ceases to operate
•
6.1.2 Setting 5026 Stage 2 and higher
1. Go to Stage 2.
NOTE If Stages 6 - 8 are set to Misting/Heating, set Stages 2 - 5 only.
2. Set the required parameters:
Temp On: Set the differential above the target temperature at which the fans begin
•
Temp Off: Set the differential above the target temperature at which the fans end
•
3. Repeat for each stage.
6.1.3 How does 5026 cooling work?
Ventilation time in the 5026 runs in three modes:
MV ramping timer: Fans run in an on/off cycle, where the cycle time changes as the
•
temperature changes.
Calculated on/off time: Fans continue running in a cycle, but change in cycle time only
•
happens after a user-defined delay. Since temperatures can fluctuate constantly, the delay
ensures stable fan speeds.
Continual operation: Fans remain on until the temperature drops
