The value is determined by measuring the height of the flange when the room is closed then opening the room
completely and measuring the height of the flange again. If the difference exceeds the ranges above, the lift bar
option is not suitable.
2. Rooms with an awning mounted over the top of the slide-out room.
3. Rooms with an awning mounted on the face of the room where the top of the roll bar is less than 1/2" below the
roof line of the room when the room is closed.
4. Recessed rooms. The lift bars store between the coach wall and the awning; when the room is closed there is not
enough clearance for the lift bar assembly.
5. Additional layout requirements may restrict installations. Refer to the "Pre-Installation Layout" on page 4 for the
Basic Summit. Refer to the "Pre-Installation Layout" on page 12 for the Summit XL.
