Make sure arrows on connectors are
facing up.
Fasten one lower anchor belt con-
nector to the anchor located in the
vehicle seat bight.
Repeat for other side of child
restraint.
Lower Anchor Belt
Lays below the bottom notch as
shown.

Tighten Belt
Place hand in child restraint.
Firmly push child restraint down and
towards the vehicle seat back while
pulling the free end of the belt paral-
lel with the belt path through the belt
path opening as shown.

Check Belt Tightness
Hold child restraint at the belt path
with your weaker hand.
Push and pull from side to side.
It should not move more than 1 in.
(2.5 cm).
If it moves more than 1 in. (2.5 cm), you can try:
A. Pulling the belt tighter.
B. Reinstalling the child restraint.
C. Changing to a different seating location.
D. Switching to vehicle belt installation.

Check your child's fi t often
and make any needed adjustments
to the car seat as they grow.

Recheck Rear-Facing Recline
Angle Indicator
Make sure the angle indicator ball is
in the

tightly rolled towel(s) or foam pool
noodle(s) under the front of the base
to help achieve the correct recline.
Check often to be sure padding is
still in place and the belt is tight.
