Receiver board operation

Figure 4-15: Principle of user control components
The receiver board is permanently connected to the wired user interface and to the remote controls. As soon as a
command is given from any control, this command is translated by the receiver board into a language that is
understood by the microprocessor on the control board. The microprocessor executes the requested action that
matches the command.
The communication between the controls and the receiver board is bi-directional. This is necessary for making
indications possible via LED on the controls.
Signals on the receiver board
The led indication on the receiver board can indicate the following states:
Flashing green led
Continuously green led
Continuously red led

Wireless control unit operation

Transmit and receive
The data that is sent by the wireless control units is modulated by a frequency. The transmit channel for this
frequency can be set. If there is a foreign source in the proximity that produces an interfering signal, another channel
can be selected.
The signals are transmitted through an antenna inside the unit and received by an antenna on the receiver board.
The receiver board extracts the data from the modulated signal and sends it to the control board.
