Signals on the control units

Each control unit is equipped with a LED. This LED indicates the status of the stairlift:
Indication
Constant green led
Continuous flashing green led on armrest control
2 flashes of green led on armrest control
Flashing green led on C&P or ATT
Flashing red led on armrest control + warning sound
(intermittent beeps) from drive unit
Flashing red led on armrest control + warning sound
(fast intermittent beeps) from drive unit
Constant red led on armrest control + warning sound
(fast intermittent beeps) from drive unit
Two tone beep (high-low) during 3 seconds, repeated
every 13 seconds
Two tone beep (low-high)

Power supply system

4.3.1

System assembly

The stairlift is supplied by two rechargeable maintenance-free batteries (12V/7Ah). The batteries provide a safe
power supply while moving.

These batteries are charged when the stairlift is not moving and placed on a charging contact. Charging contacts are
placed at various positions on the rail but at least at the start and end position and if applicable on a parking
position. The charging contact are connected to a the mains via a power transformer and feeder cable inside the rail.
Meaning
Joystick has been operated and the stairlift is moving
or will move
No RF communication link possible
Batteries of call and park unit almost empty
the batteries of this control unit are (almost) empty
The system gives a warning signal: see error list
The stairlift has encountered an obstacle and will stop.
Only moving in the opposite direction is possible
There is a malfunction in the stairlift : see error list
The stairlift is not on a charging point
The stairlift is about to start (sound starts every 1 s
after operating UI of C&P joystick)
