3.3 Installing the ICP-D
How to install the ICP-D into the Card Cage
1.
Gently insert the ICP-D in the guides of the Card Cage as illustrated below.
Caution:
Cage compartment. See detail in image below.
Caution:
mechanical reasons the ICP-D board cannot be manipulated (removal/installation) when the 3rd
party IMB board (or some metal partition plate) is still inserted.

Push (apply a little pressure) on both handles until the ICP-D is fully inserted and the connection is made
with the back plane.
Note: All connections are made via the board to board connection with the back plane.
3.
Use a PH2 Phillips screwdriver to fasten two screws located on the ICP-D front side (reference 1 and
reference 2).

Depending on the projector type the input cover of the projector has to be installed. Flat screwdriver may
be needed for this action. For detailed instructions see User & Installation manual of the projector.
5.
Reconnect the power cord and switch on the projector.

Ensure that the both sides of the ICP-D are captured by the guides inside the Card
Ensure that the slot located under the ICP-D is empty during this procedure. For
