    1. INTRODUCTION This 3×2 matrix switch is designed for use in environments needing a wide range of flexibility when it comes to inputs, outputs, and control. The two most common video input interfaces (HDMI, USB-C) are included along with a pair of HDMI outputs and a single analogue audio breakout port, providing the ultimate in source compatibility and flexibility.

    4. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS  HDMI or USB-C source equipment such as media players, video game consoles, laptops, or set-top boxes.  HDMI receiving equipment such as HDTVs, monitors, or audio amplifiers.  The use of Premium High Speed HDMI cables is highly recommended. 5.

    6.4 WebGUI Control Device Discovery Please obtain the “Device Discovery” software from your authorised dealer and save it in a directory where you can easily find it. Connect the unit and your PC/Laptop to the same active network and execute the “Device Discovery” software. Click on “Find Devices on Internet”...
  • Page 12 WebGUI Overview After connecting to the WebGUI’s address in a web browser, the login screen will appear. Please enter the appropriate user name and password then click “Submit” to log in. Note: The default user name and password is “admin”. On the left side of the browser you will see the following menu tabs where all primary functions of the unit are controllable via the built in WebGUI.

    6.4.1 AV Switch Tab This tab provides A/V routing control, HDCP management, auto switch control, analogue audio controls, and I/O renaming options. To assign a A/V route, select one or both output buttons on the left and then click on the button of the preferred input source on the right.
  • Page 14 „ Set Output Name: To rename the output, type the new name in the space provided in the edit window. The name can be up to 32 characters long. Click the “Save” button to confirm the change. „ 4K2K Downscale: Select the 4K to 1080p downscaling behavior for output A.
  • Page 15 6) Analogue Audio Output: Select the audio source for the analogue audio output. Note: Only LPCM 2.0 sources are supported. 7) Analogue Audio Mute: Mute or unmute the analogue audio output.

    6.4.2 USB Settings Tab This tab provides control over the settings for the USB ports on the unit. 1) USB Host setting: Enable or disable automatic selection of the USB host port. 2) USB-C Super Speed Selection: Select the operational mode of the USB Type-C port.

    6.4.3 Automation Tab This tab provides control over the unit’s automatic control command broadcast behavior when any of the specified Automation Events occur. Automation commands can control connected devices via CEC, RS-232, and Telnet. Note: CEC events are only sent to the device connected to HDMI output A. 1) Event: Use the dropdown to select the Automation Event to configure.
  • Page 18 „ CEC Command: Set the CEC command to send when the specified Automation Event is activated. Click the “Test” button to send the command immediately. Available CEC commands are: - Power Off: Turn off the connected HDMI display device. - Power On: Turn on the connected HDMI display device. - Active Source: Force the connected HDMI display device to switch to the HDMI input that this unit is connected to.
  • Page 19 4) Telnet: Enable or disable sending a Telnet command to the designated IP address when the currently selected Automation Event is activated. Click the “Edit” icon ( ) to configure the target IP address and communication port. If the target Telnet device requires a login to receive commands, those details may be added as well.

    6.4.4 EDID Tab This tab provides control over the EDID settings of all inputs. This unit provides the option of six standard EDIDs, two sink sourced EDIDs and three user uploaded EDIDs that can be assigned to one input or all inputs as a group.
  • Page 21 2) Output EDID „ Download: To save the EDID from a connected display to your local PC, select the output from the dropdown list then press the “Download” button. Depending on your browser settings you will either be asked where to save the downloaded file, or the file will be transferred to the default download location on your PC.

    6.4.5 Network Tab This tab provides network configuration options including changing the IP mode, viewing/setting the IP configuration, changing the admin login password, and changing the Web Login timeout. 1) IP Configuration: IP Mode may be switched between Static IP or DHCP.

    6.4.6 System Tab This tab provides serial number information, system configuration backup/restore/reset, system reboot, and firmware update functions. 1) System Configuration „ Download: The current system configuration, including routing and settings, may be saved as an XML file to a PC. Click the “Download” button to save the current system configuration to your local PC.

    6.5 Telnet Control Before attempting to use Telnet control, please ensure that both the unit and the PC are connected to the same active networks. Start your preferred Telnet/Console client, or use the built in client provided by most modern computer operating systems. After starting the client, connect by using the current IP address of the unit and port 23 (if the communication port number used by the unit has not been changed previously).
