Trouble
2. Uneven material feed
The upper and lower cloths are
not evenly fed.

2-1) Feeding is inappropriate.

1-A) The feed dog is too high.
1-B) The feed trace is inappropriate.
1-C) The top edges of the feed dog
teeth are worn.
1-D) The feed dog pitch is too large.
1-E) The tilt of the feed dog is not
correct.
1-F) The feed timing is too late.
Check and corrective measures
The influence of thread tightness by a thread
take-up and a feed dog is reduced by using
small presser with a clearance groove.

Lower the height of the feed dog (MS : 0.8
mm, SH : 1.2 mm) or increase the pressure to
prevent the material from jumping.
Adjust the timing of the vertical feed cam with
reference to "3.-(3) Operating timing of the
feed".
Sharpen the top edges.
Use one with a smaller pitch.
Set the feed dog with its front down.
Adjust the feed timing to the standard timing.
