Remove the two M2.5x4 Torx screws that fasten the engine to the bottom enclosure and power
supply.

Lift the engine out of the bottom enclosure.

If you are replacing the engine with a new one, do the following:
1. Remove the dampening gasket on the end of the formatter ECA as shown below. You
will install the gasket on the new engine. If the gasket is missing or damaged, a new one
is available in the Hardware Kit (802-0036-xx).
2. Place the old engine in the plastic clamshell in which the new engine was packaged.
