User Option Switches
The meter panel in the Centre section is fitted with 16 switches which are available for user defined functions.
The switches are linked to the console's macro system so that each switch can be assigned to a range of internal console
functions. They can also be programmed to operate a relay closure on the RIO Interface card.
The lower four positions are fitted with physically latching switches. This enables them to be used for internal switching
functions such as external TFT input switching (see page 23).
It is possible to engrave custom labels for user option switches – contact SSL's Project Engineering Department for details.
It is the responsibility of the facility to ensure that all cabling required to enable correct operation user option switches
is installed prior to the console being commissioned.
