When the chains are hanging freely, the distance between the chain and the boom
in the middle of the chain should be approx. 10mm (0.39in).
5.
For adjustment and inspection, the chains should be made loose with a reverse
movement. The extensions chains can be loosened by slightly retracting the fully-extended
boom as described above.
The retraction chains are loosened in the same way by slightly extending a fully-retracted
boom.

Torque of locking nuts of outrigger axles (nylon nuts) .................50Nm to 70Nm
Nuts of wheel hubs and pivot axles .............................................50Nm to 70Nm
Locking of axle nuts of cylinder pins (nylon nuts).........................50Nm to 70Nm
Loosened nylon nuts should always be replaced with new nylon nuts. When a nylon nut
has been opened (for instance for a repair work), an opened nylon nut should be always
replaced with a new one.
