BEFORE USING THE ACCESS PLATFORM FOR THE
FIRST TIME
Check the following always before using the Access Platform at the intervals stated in the
table. DO NOT USE A FAULTY ACCESS PLATFORM.
General issues to be
inspected

- fuel, level
- hydraulic oil, leaks
- condition of hydraulic
hoses
- Checking of the load
lowering valves of the
cylinders
- tyre pressures
- visual inspection of bolt
connections and load-
bearing structures
Operation

safety
limits
- checking of telescope
reach
- checking of lifting
radius
- checking of backup
safety
limit
of
control
- checking of safety
limits of outriggers
- checking of ground
sensor
limits
outriggers
- checking of platform
load control
Daily, weekly and monthly inspections and maintenance may be carried out by personnel
sufficiently familiar with the use of the access platform and the User's manual.
Repairs and adjustments of safety equipment such as reach limit and load control should
be carried out by trained personnel or a service shop.
The person carrying out the annual inspection of the Access Platform should have
qualification of a lifting equipment inspector.
