approximately a quarter of a turn anti-
clockwise.
Make sure catch B is not pulled in again.

If this happens, pull out catch B again as
far as possible and turn it about a quarter
turn anti-clockwise.
Soft-top compartment hinges on the right-hand
and left-hand sides in the gap between the soft-top
compartment cover and the boot sealing
Shift both levers D of soft-top compart-

ment hinges C forwards beyond the
detent position on both sides.
On both sides, pull the straps through
X
behind the soft-top compartment hinges in
the direction of the arrow.
Route the straps through the created loops.

Pull the straps between the soft-top com-
X
partment hinges and the soft-top compart-
ment.

Do not pull the straps as long as the boot
is open.
Place straps E on the cover of the soft-top
X
compartment.
Take the hex-socket wrench and the vehi-
X
cle key out of the boot if necessary.
Close the boot lid.

You can only access the boot again once
you have fully closed the soft top manually.
! The boot lid must be closed for the next
steps. The soft top compartment cover
could otherwise collide with the boot lid.
