4.3.4 RADIUS Flag and Static Username settings

• Not Authenticated. The IDU has not yet started its RADIUS authentication with the
hub.
• Authentication Requested. IDU has sent a RADIUS authentication request, but it has
not received a reply and the timeout has not expired yet.
• Authenticated. The IDU has successfully completed RADIUS authentication with the
hub.
The RADIUS Configuration page allows you to enable or disable RADIUS authentication
and set RADIUS parameters.
• Set the default RADIUS domain name
• Set the RADIUS flag and the static user (RADIUS) username
• Set the RADIUS (static user) password for the SIT
Parameter
This flag will enable the default domain name to be appended to the
static user username for RADIUS authentication.
0- Disable default domain name

1 - Enable default domain name
This parameter is set during initial configuration of the IDU (see the
Installation Manual,
This default domain name will be appended to the static user username
(as in RADIUS Configuration) if the Default Domain Flag is

enabled. The username sent to the RADIUS server will then be
