The IDU Control page is used to control many aspects of IDU operation.

The Power Level parameter sets the power level in dB for the current session. The maxi-
mum output of the IDU is "0". To implement the change, press the Set button.
When attempting to acquire the return link or when using test mode, the IDU initially
employs the configured default power level (see the Installation Manual,

SIT mode of operation. Select "Operational" from the drop-down box.
• Commissioning. Used for installation when trying to reach a higher gain. The IDU
will continuously send ACQs until commanded to stop. At the end of the installation
process, the installer should return the mode to Operational mode.
• Operational. This is the normal mode of operation.
• Reference. The SIT can be used as a reference SIT for the hub. To properly execute
this mode, as a minimum, it is necessary to modify the following parameters: the
OAM Release Timeout shall be disabled "0"; the Automatic Acquisition Flag shall be
enabled "1"; the IDU ULPC shall be disabled.
The factory default setting is "Operational".
