Installing Optional Media
Installing Optional Speckled Stones
[RR150SS for PL42VO, RR300SS for PL60VO]
Once the glass door has been removed, place the speckled stones evenly
across the pan and burner see figure 55. Ensure stones do not overlap too
much as this will effect the flame pattern, see Figure 55. DO NOT cover
the pilot with stones, see Figure 56. Ensure numbers are facing down.

Installing Optional Driftwood Log Set (PL42VO)
[LGS59]
The PL42VO has the option of installing a driftwood log set. Once the
firestones or speckled stones have been installed the log set can be
installed.
Ensure logs are securely placed and will not tip or fall. Remove media
where logs touch the burner tray to ensure a more secure position.
Driftwood logset MUST be installed with Firestone, Fireglass or Speckled
Stone media as a base.

Step 1. Place Log 2 in the front left corner of the burner tray. Ensure log
does not cover pilot. See Figure 58.

Step 2. Place Log 5 to the right of log 2 at the back of the media tray.
