General
The mean speed is required to determine the mechanic continuous power of
the drive. The following calculation can be used for a user-friendly determina‐
tion of trapezoidal or triangular speed profiles:

This mode of operation is characteristic for the most applications. After the
acceleration phase, constant speed is used for operation until the decelera‐
