OPEN / CLOSE (Code AE)
Description
The event occurs if a valve po-
sition is read which can never
be achieved in the "Open" dir-
ection.
The events occur if the dis-
tance between the OPEN and
CLOSED positions determined
during initialization is implaus-
ible.
The event occurs if the actu-
ator does not have a valid cal-
ibration. The actuator is calib-
rated in the factory.
The event occurs when a short
circuit is present at pin 5 (di-
gital input/digital output).
The event occurs when a short
circuit is present at pin 6 (di-
gital output (IO-Link)).
The event occurs when it has
been determined when starting
the actuator that the specific
data in the actuator's read-only
memory has been changed un-
intentionally.
The event occurs when it is
has been determined when
starting the actuator that the
configuration data in the actu-
ator's read-only memory has
been changed unintentionally.
The configuration data that
has been changed has been re-
set to its default values. The
event serves to signal the
changes in the configuration
data.
Possible cause
Fault in valve position detec-

(spindle, diaphragm or valve
body incorrectly mounted, for
example).
Supply line insulation is dam-
aged.
Incorrect pin configuration.
Incorrect wiring of the pin.
