Using the Solution Kit (Type H)
Step 4
Use your index finger to firmly press the scoop end of the test stick to the
center of the nose cone opening, as shown in the figure below.
Be sure to center the scoop over the center of the nose cone. This will
ensure that the testing surface is in the path of the laser beam. If you position
the scoop incorrectly, you will scan the test stick plastic instead of the metal
NOTE
wafer.
Step 5
Select Scan again. The scan begins immediately. The laser indicator light
glows when the laser is active. If you need to delay the scan, select Delay.
Hold the test stick and the analyzer still during the scan, to make sure that
you scan the metal wafer.
When the scan analysis step finishes, a scan result will appear.
