4.6 Connecting the supply cable
To connect the supply cable, proceed as follows:
1. Insert the supply cable through the cable entry and connect the supply cable.

Wire end sleeves when using stranded cables
When connecting stranded cables, use wire end sleeves.

For versions with socket outlet type 2, make sure that the auxiliary activation of the
connector lock (red lever) is not hindered or blocked by the connected cables. Check this
by carefully activating the lever (swivel range max. 90°). Move it back to the vertical
position afterwards.
2. Tighten the nuts of the cable gland by hand to ensure a tight seal and strain relief. Use the
supplied reducer for cables with 9 to 15 mm outer diameter. Check that the seal is sitting
correctly.
