3. Review the settings. Click Apply to save the settings.
Configure the following parameters as required:

Port Access Control – Select Enabled to enable port access control or Disabled
to disable it. Disabled is selected by default.

Authentication Method - This parameter indicates the authentication method
used by the switch. Select one of the following choices:
o
RADIUS: This parameter configures port security for remote
authentication. After completing steps, you must configure the
"RADIUS Client" section.
o
Local: This parameter configures port security for local authentication.
After completing steps, you must configure the parameters for "Dial-in
User— Local Authentication" section.
o
TACACS+: This parameter configures port security for terminal
authentication. After completing steps, you must configure the
"TACACS+ Settings" section.

Re-authentication Status – Select Enabled / Disabled for the re-authentication.
Default is selected by default.

Re-authentication Period – Input the duration of the re-authentication period
from 1 – 3600 seconds.

VLAN Assignment – Select Enabled / Disabled for VLAN Assignment

Guest VLAN Status – Select Enabled / Disabled for Guest VLAN Status

Guest VLAN ID – Input the VLAN ID for Guests in the range of 1 – 4094

Maximum Request – Input the number of request that can be made in the
range of 1 – 255.

Configure Port Access Settings

Security > Port Access Control
1. Log into your switch management page (see
on page 11).
2. Click on Security, click on Port Access Control and click on Settings under Port Access
Control Settings.
3. Review the settings. Click Apply to save the settings.
Configure the following parameters as required:

Port: Select which port is needed for the Security setup

Port Control – Select the type of control being used (Auto, Force Authorized,
Force Unauthorized)

Authentication Mode – Select which authentication method for each port
(802.1X, MAC Based)

Supplicant Mode – Select the supplicant mode (Multiple, Single)
