    Safety Information Intended Use The HYHT40Li is a battery powered hedge trimmer from HYUNDAI. The HYHT40Li has a cutting length of 520mm and is powered by a 40V 2.5Ah Lithium-ion battery. The hedge trimmer is manufactured according to the latest safety requirements. Every precaution is only effective when it is followed exactly.

    Lay the contents out and check them. If any part is damaged or missing, you must not use the machine. Contact HYUNDAI Power Products immediately. You must keep the packaging material in case the machine needs to be returned or repaired.

    Fitting / Removing Battery Fitting And Removal Of Battery DANGER - To avoid accidental operation and injury, the battery should always be removed whenever you are not using the tool. This is essential when you are making adjustments or maintaining the blade or other moving parts. Use the blade cover when you are storing or transporting the tool to avoid injury and damage.

    Rotating Handle Feature Rotating The Handle 1. Hold the trimmer with both hands, one hand on the front handle, the other on the rear handle. Use your thumb to pull the Handle Rotation lock button back and rotate the handle. The handle will lock in three positions, centre, left 90°and right 90°.

If the blades slow down, reduce the pace. • Do not try to cut stems or twigs that are larger than 15mm thick, or those obviously too large to feed into the cutting blade.
