    Intended use This cordless chainsaw is designated with rated voltage of 58V. It is designed only to be used with the battery pack YT8033-02. YT8033-02 designates the respective charger with a charging voltage of 58V. The product is intended for cutting logs with a thickness of max. 22.5-23cm. It must not be used for cutting other materials, such as plastic, stone, metal, wood that contains foreign objects, or materials that are harmful to health.

    Assembly WARNING! Before using the product, familiarise yourself with the operating features read the entire instruction manual paying particular attention to the safety rules and operating procedures. WARNING! The product must be fully assembled before operation! Do not use a product that is only partly assembled or assembled with damaged parts! Follow the assembly instructions step-by-step and use the pictures provided as a visual guide to easily assemble the product!

    Tensioning the chain 1. Check the chain tension by pulling the saw chain away from the guide bar. A properly tensioned chain should have roughly 1/8 inch (3mm) of distance between itself and the bar guide (See Fig. 5). Fig. 5 2.

    Replace the chain 1. Rotate the bar adjustment locking knob and remove the cover of the saw’s body (see pages 18-19 for more information). 2. Lift the worn saw chain out of the fitted slot in the guide bar. WARNING! When handling saw chains, always wear protective gloves. 3.

Insert and remove the battery To insert the battery, slide it into the back of the chainsaw until a “click” is heard. Make sure the battery is fully inserted and latched into position.

    Operation Preparation Before each use, check the following items to ensure safe working conditions. Chainsaw: before beginning work, inspect the chainsaw for damage to the housing, the extension cord, the saw chain and the guide bar. Never use an obviously damaged machine.

    Guide bar and saw chain maintenance Most guide bar problems can be prevented merely by keeping the product well maintained. Incorrect filing and non-standard cutter and depth gauge settings are the causes of most guide bar problems, primarily resulting in uneven bar wear. As the bar wears unevenly, the rails widen, which may cause the chain to clatter and make it difficult to complete straight cuts.
