Installing the Module

The installation procedure is as follows.
Install the base unit.
When using a DIN rail, secure a 35mm-wide rail in the vertical direction.
Hook the DIN rail to the notch in the left side of the DIN rail installation slot on
the back of the module, and turn the base unit clockwise to install it to the rail
(press it fully until it clicks).
When installing a DIN rail, install DIN rail stoppers at the upper and lower ends
of the base unit connection so that the base unit will not move on the DIN rail.
Do not perform wiring, insertion of the
TC-net I/O bus cable connector, or
installation, removal, or replacement of the
base unit while the power is on.
It may cause an electric shock or malfunction.
For ventilation, allow a space of 10cm or
more from the top of the base unit BU901 to
which the SA911/SA912 is installed.
If ventilation is insufficient, the internal temperature of the
SA911/SA912 may increase, causing failure or
malfunction.
Connect the base units in the vertical
direction.
If they are installed in the horizontal direction, heat
dissipation may be blocked, resulting in failure or
malfunction.
