5. Twist the screen clockwise (as viewed from the bottom) so that the flanges in the screen grab the serrat-
ed hex head screws. Tighten all three serrated hex head screws to secure the screen to the bottom of
the float, being sure not to pinch the power cord. 9/16'' side of wrench tool required.
6. Using included cable ties (L), attach the unit power cord to one of the rope holes for strain relief as
shown below. Unit is ready for installation into the pond. Any lights or other optional equipment installa-
tion (including nozzle selection) should be made at this time. Refer to instructions included with equip-
ment.

Providing strain relief on the cord helps ensure that
its weight and any strain placed on it in the water will
not cause the float to tilt or cause damage to the unit.
If your Kasco cord comes with a strain relief kit at-
tached, attach the available link to the float-side knot
in the mooring rope, as pictured here.
