Microprocessor
The motherboard supports the latest powerful and energy efficient processors from
Intel. These include Intel's Core 2 Duo and Core 2 Quad processors in the LGA775
package. With the new Intel Core microarchitecture technology and 1333/1066/800
MHz FSB, users are able to step up to new levels o gaming experience and multi-
tasking performance.
Memory
Main Memory
The motherboard has two DDR2 DIMM sockets. Minimum memory size is 512MB;
maximum memory size is 4GB. The BIOS automatically detects memory type, size,
and speed.
The motherboard supports the following memory features:
 240-pin DIMMs.
 667/800 MHz
 Supports memory bandwidths of up to 12.8 GB/s
 Un-Buffered Non-ECC DIMM.
Chipset
The Intel® G31 chipset boosts your gaming and multimedia experience with
integrated graphic engine Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 3100. It supports
1066/800 MHz front side bus (FSB), and delivers breakthrough advances in 3D and
2D graphics, and video capabilities. This integrated chipset contains one 16-lane PCI
Express port intended for an external PCI Express graphics card and provides the
interface for the processor in the 775-land package, and the dual channel DDR2
memory at speeds up to 800MHz.
Realtek 8111C Platform LAN Connect Device
The Realtek 8111C component provides an interface to the back panel RJ-45
connector with integrated LEDs. This physical interface may alternately be provided
via the CNR connector.
The Realtek 8111C provides the following functions:
 10/100/1000 Ethernet LAN Connectivity
 Supports RJ-45 connector with status indicator LEDs
 Full driver compatibility
 ACPI Power Management
 Programmable transit threshold
 Configuration EEPROM that contains the MAC address
