  • Page 2 WARNING: This Quick Reference Card should be used by clinicians only. Do not permit patients to have access to this card, as the information would allow access to all programming and operating functions. Keypad STOP/START Stops and starts the pump LOCK Displays or changes lock level (security level)
  • Page 3 PROGRAMMING / Setup Sequence (Continued) Enter Next Press ´ or Î to select desired dose Dose Start start time and date, or “immediate” if Time appropriate. Press ENTER. Verify the start time and press ´ if correct. To re-enter the start time, press Î.
  • Page 4 Pump Operations (Continued) To View Time Time remaining is the amount of time Remaining remaining to deliver the current dose and dose cycle. Press OPTIONS. Press ´ or Î until Immediate Taper-Down appears. Press ENTER. NOTE: if dashes appear in place of times, the dose has been delayed by the Next Dose start Time.
  • Page 5 Changing the Cassette To Remove Stop the pump. Used Close all tubing clamps. Cassette If necessary, use key to unlock used cassette. Use side of key or coin to unlatch used cassette. Disconnect tubing from patient. Remove and discard used cassette. To Attach Close tubing clamp.

    Priming the Fluid Path Using the Prime Option The priming feature is available either: when you attach a cassette (above), or in the Options Menu. To access the Prime option in the Options menu: Pump must be in LL0 or LL1. Stop the pump.

Change battery soon. 9-volt Battery 9-volt battery is depleted and Depleted cannot operate pump; install fresh battery immediately. High Pressure Possible blockage downstream (between pump and patient), clamp or kink in fluid path.
