  • Page 3 1. CEILING MOUNT DRAPERY TRACK INSTALLATION Double check drapery height, drapery width, and track length before beginning your installation. Ensure your drapery fits the track and also the floor to ceiling distance (be aware of desired pin setting). The width of your panels should be large enough to cover the length of your track plus any return distance, plus any overlap in the case of a center draw application.
  • Page 4 Find where the center of your track (CT) will be placed by measuring the window opening (WO) and divide by two. See Figure 5. CT = WO Figure 5 Using a pencil, mark the location on the ceiling you want the center of the track to be mounted.
  • Page 5 5. INSTALL THE CAMLOCKS Using the centerline of the window and the measurements taken, locate and install the outer camlocks of your track 6” inboard from 6” 12” Every 16” - 48” 6” the outside of your track. See Figure 9. For side draw applications, the track may not be symmetrically located over the window to accommodate the stackback of the drapery and the window overlap.

  • Page 7 Once the camlocks have been installed, twist the camlock to the open position (arm facing straight back towards the wall/window) so it is ready to receive the track. See Figure 13. Figure 13 - Set camlock to the open position 6.
  • Page 8 7. INSTALL THE FASCIA CLIPS (Only for applications with fascia) If you are using a fascia, install all the fascia clips into the track before installing the track onto the camlocks. Snap the fascia clips into the recess at the top of the track, one side at a time starting with the front side of the clip.
  • Page 9 Starting in the middle, secure the track on each of the camlocks. Push the track upward so the camlock features rest in the groove on the top of the track. Turn the camlock arm so the features inside the top track groove bite in and hold the track in place.
  • Page 10 11. INSTALL AND CONNECT THE SENSOR BOX (Optional) Place and install the sensor box behind the drapery in a place where the Pendant is still accessible to the end user. Make sure to install the sensor box at a height where both Primary and Secondary motor cables can reach the sensor box.
  • Page 11 12. ATTACH THE DRAPERY (Optional) Snap or hook the drapery into each carrier, starting with the master carrier arm(s) and ending with the end(s) of the track. Wrap and pin the remaining fabric around the motor using the pin connectors, hiding it from plain sight, but making sure the Pendant is accessible.
  • Page 12 II. START UP 1. CONNECT POWER On battery powered units, untwist the Pendant end cap and insert (6) or (8) D Alkaline batteries, negative end first. Twist the Pendant lock to secure back onto the unit. See Figure 35. Figure 35 - Insert Batteries into the Pendant Twist the Pendant lock to secure back onto the unit.
  • Page 13 Power up the Pendant by plugging the input of the power cable provided into the bottom jack of the Pendant. Plug the wall port into a desired outlet. See Figure 40. Figure 40 - Connecting Pendant to Wall Outlet On units with power and control over CAT5e or CAT6, run the wire as desired to the power and communication port.
