Example measurement, Sorting
To perform a measurement, proceed as follows:
1.
Start a sorting program via "Application profiles" or via the corresponding
function key and follow the software instructions.
2.
Measure the reference sample first.
Hold the test probe (adapter) onto the sample.
Follow the instructions displayed by the software.
Press and hold the "Start Measurement" key for the entire duration of the
measurement.
If a measurement result is poor, the status indicator of the test probe
lights up red and the measurement must be repeated.
When the minimum number of good measurements is reached, the
counter for good samples is incremented by one point (this depends on
the program settings).
3.
Now, measure the sample to be checked.
If the measurement result is good, the counter for good samples is
increased by one point on the screen. Now, the next sample can be
measured.
If the measurement result is poor, the counter for poor samples is
increased by one point on the screen
The measurement is complete.

The measurement is fully automated. The progress is displayed in
the measurement window.
The measurement is finished automatically.
During the measurement, the red status indicator of the test probe
flashes.
When the first measurement is finished, the status indicator of the
test probe turns green.
Depending on the program settings, two repeat measurements must
be carried out. If these measurement results are also poor, the
counter for poor samples is increased by one point on the screen.
Now, the next sample can be measured.
