24. Loosen set screws on cutterhead or motor
pulley as needed to align pulleys, then tighten
set screws (see Figure 31).

25. Loosen motor mount bolts shown in Figure
32, but DO NOT completely remove them.

26. Slide motor upward, place belt around
cutterhead and motor pulleys, then slide
motor down to rest on belt (see Figure 33).

27. Adjust belt tension by applying downward
pressure on motor until there is approxi-
mately
moderate force, as shown in Figure 34.
Note: After the first 16 hours of operation,
check and re-tension the belt, as it may
stretch and seat during this time, which will

cause it to lose the initial tension you set.

28. Tighten motor mount bolts/nuts (see Figure
32) and replace rear panel.
29. Place fence onto fence carriage base, mak-
ing sure it fits over key (see Figure 35), then
insert fence lock and thread on locking nut.
