2.16 Safety Sign Explanations

1. WARNING!
Serious injury or death from
electrocution could occur!
Stay 50 ft (15 m) or more away from
overhead electrical cables. Electrocution
is possible without direct contact
(arcing).
2. WARNING!
Risk of injury from collision with
material in the grapple resulting in
crushing or impact injuries!
Always be aware of the boom position
and material in the grapple. Keep workers
and bystanders clear.
3. WARNING!
Risk of injury from pinch hazards!
Be aware of the position of the boom and
grapple to prevent injury from moving
parts.
Be aware of boom and stabilizer position
as control panel moves with rotating
boom.
4. CAUTION!
Refer to the operator's manual. Read
ALL operating instructions in the
manual. Learn the meaning of ALL
safety signs on the machine before
operating it!
The best safety feature is an informed
operator.

Hydraulic fluid under pressure! Risk of
high-pressure fluid being injected under
the skin!
Never check for leaks with your hand.
Use a piece of wood or cardboard
instead. Keep clear of oil leaks that are
under pressure.

Risk of collision hazard with an
unsecured boom!
Install boom lock pin before transporting
to keep boom secured.
