Wireless Station Configuration

This section applies to all Wireless stations wishing to use the LevelOne 22Mbps Wireless AP
Router's Access Point, regardless of the operating system which is used on the client.
To use the Wireless Access Point in the LevelOne 22Mbps Wireless AP Router, each Wireless
Station must have compatible settings, as follows:
Mode
SSID (ESSID)
WEP
The mode must be set to Infrastructure.
This must match the value used on the LevelOne 22Mbps Wireless AP
Router. The default value is default
Note! The SSID is case sensitive.
By default, WEP on the LevelOne 22Mbps Wireless AP Router is
disabled.
•
If WEP remains disabled on the LevelOne 22Mbps Wireless AP
Router, all stations must have WEP disabled.
•
If WEP is enabled on the LevelOne 22Mbps Wireless AP Router,
each station must use the same settings as the LevelOne 22Mbps
Wireless AP Router.
