Using the OASYS PCI
The new Samples will appear in the Catalog under the Samples tab. You can now
use them in Multisamples just as you would the Korg factory samples.
Stereo Samples
OASYS PCI supports both split and interleaved stereo samples. Split stereo samples
must have file names ending in -l (left) and -r (right), before the 3-character file
extension. For instance, a split stereo WAV-format bass sample would be named
"bass-r.wav" and "bass-l.wav."
Split stereo files appear in the Catalog as a single stereo sample.
Editing Samples in an external editor
You can use the Open Sample in Editor button to edit any WAV, AIFF, or Sound
Designer II Sample in your preferred external sample editing program, such as
Peak, WaveLab, SoundForge, Spark, Alchemy, etc.
Selecting a sample editing program
First, you need to select a sample editing program:

The Preferences window will open.

A standard file-select dialog will appear.

When the file-select dialog is closed, the sample editor's name will now appear in
the Preferences window.
Editing a Sample
To edit a Sample in the selected sample editing program:

The Sample will be opened in the sample editing program.

The edited Sample will be loaded into OASYS PCI.
OASYS PCI
Select Preferences from the File menu.
Select the PCM Playback tab.
Under Sample Editor, press the Choose button.
Select your preferred sample editing program.
In the Multisample Edit window, select the Sample to edit.
Press the Open Sample in Editor button.
Edit the Sample as desired.
Save your edits in the sample editing program.
Switch back to the OASYS PCI Editor.
In the Multisample Edit window, make sure that the same Sample is still
selected, and then press the Re-Load Sample button.
