Using Programs & Patches
Creating a new Program
To create a new program:

A new Program, named Untitled, will appear in the Input Slot. All of its parameters
will be set to default values, and both Patch slots will be empty.
Editing a Program
To edit a Program:

This opens the Program Edit window, as described on page 86.
In the Program Edit window, you can select one or two Patches for the Program,
along with their key and velocity ranges, relative volume levels, scale, voice
assignment modes, and so on.
Synthesis parameters, such as envelopes, lfos, modulation routings, and so on, are
edited in the Patch Control Panel, as explained under "Editing a Patch," below.
Adding a Patch to a Program
To add a Patch to a Program:

(MacOs only: Alternatively, you can select the Patch slot and then double-click the
name of the Patch in the Catalog.)
The Patch will appear in the slot.
Editing a Program Name
You can edit the name of a Program from within a Multi, without needing to save
the Program to the disk. To edit a Program name:
1.
The Program Edit window will appear.
2.
The new name will take affect immediately.
OASYS PCI
In the desired Mixer Channel, set the Input Type to Program.
Double-click on the Program name, in either the Mixer Channel input slot
or the Channel Parameters window.
Open the Catalog, by selecting it from the Windows menu.
In the Catalog, select the Patch tab.
Drag a Patch from the Catalog onto a Patch slot in the Program Edit window.
Double-click on the Program name in the Mixer or Channel Parameters
window.
Click in the Program Name parameter, and edit as desired.
