Adding Yourself as a User

Purpose
Procedure
It's important to add yourself as a user because you will want to keep your methods
separate from those belonging to others. Also, the system requires a user name when
you store a method.
To add yourself as a user:
Step Action
1 From the Main Menu press F5 (User).
The Select User Name screen appears.

2 Press F2 (New).
The User Name screen appears.
Note The blank space after the z is used to insert blank spaces.

Use ENTER key to select a character.

3 Spell out your name by using the arrow keys to move the highlighter at the right of
the screen to the first letter of your name, then press Enter, then highlight the
second letter and press Enter, etc. When you have finished entering your name (up
to six characters), press F1 (Accept) to save it.
The Security Code screen appears.
User Name: adrian
Press PIN # to create a #. Then you set
protection to Locked to prevent methods
from being overwritten or deleted.
