3 POWER switch
Press this switch to turn the drive on
and off.

Press this button when opening the
dust cover to set an AIT data
cartridge, or when ejecting a data

LED that shows the External AIT
status. (→ P. 75)
6 TAPE LED
LED that shows the status of the AIT
data cartridge. (→ P. 75)
7 BUSY LED
LED that shows the data
communication status. (→ P. 75)
8 Ventilation holes
(The drive does not have ventilation
holes.)
9 Dust cover
Protects the data cartridge slot
