Ejecting the AIT data cartridge

Confirm that the BUSY LED is not
blinking.

Press the EJECT button and open
the dust cover.
Pressing the EJECT button, External
AIT starts rewinding the tape (this
may take a few minutes).
Important
Firmly press the EJECT button to
remove the data cartridge from the AIT
drive.
Pressing the EJECT button lightly will
open the dust cover without ejecting the
data cartridge.

When the tape is completely
rewound, the data cartridge is
automatically ejected from the
External AIT.

Remove the data cartridge from the
slot and close the dust cover.
