4.1. CONNECTION OF PHOTOCELLS AND SAFETY DEVICES
Before you connect the photocells (or other devices) we advise you
to select the type of operation according to the movement zone
they have to protect.
Closing safety devices:
they are tripped only during the barrier
closing movement, and, therefore, are suitable for protecting
the closing zone against the risk of impact.
If two or more safety devices (NC contacts) have
to be connected, put them in series with each
other (see fig.3).
Connection of 2 NC contacts in series
(E.g.: Photocells, Stop)
If two or more safety devices with N.O. contacts
have to be connected, put them in parallel with
each other (see fig.4).
Connection of 2 N.O. contacts in parallel
(E.g.: Open A, Open B)
