NOTE:
• The shadow loop detector does not need to be connected in series with closing safety de-
vices.
• If the board doesn't have the proper software installed the shadow loop will act as a normal
closing safety, detecting also the gate itself and not allowing the closing movement to com-
plete.
To remove the XIB interface board:
1. Turn power OFF
2. Unplug the board and remove the wiring
3. Move the encoder wires to the 2EASY connector on the board
4. Turn power back ON
5. Verify that leaf 1 & 2 lights on the encoder are correct
6. Press and release the SW1 button quickly. The board will recognize that the XIB board
has been removed
7. Re-program run time if needed.
