The door will close nice and steady until the last 12 inches and then it slams shut. Please advise on how to adjust the last 12 inches so the close does not slam shut.
To prevent the Assa Abloy 6000 Series door from slamming shut in the last 12 inches, adjust the latch valve labeled "L". This valve controls the door speed during the final portion of closing (typically the last 10–15 degrees). Turn the valve to slow down the speed and reduce slamming.
