1. SAFETY INFORMATION

◆ This IPC tester is intended to be used in compliance with any local electrical codes and should
not be used in areas where the use of electronics is prohibited, such as gas stations, hospitals
◆ To prevent electronics malfunctions or failures, this product should not be splashed with or
submerged in liquids.
◆ Exposed parts of the tester should not be touched by the dust and/or liquid.
◆ During transportation and use, it is highly recommended to avoid the violent collisions,
dropping or vibration of the tester, otherwise component damage may occur which can lead to
equipment failure.
◆ Don't leave the tester unattended while charging and recharging. If the battery seems to be
overheating in any capacity, please remove charging cable from IPC tester immediately.
The IPC tester should not be charged for more than 8 hours continuously.
◆ Don't use the tester in high humidity areas. If the tester seems to be damp in any form, power
off immediately and disconnect any other connected cables.
◆ The tester should not be used in the environments with the flammable gas.
◆ Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the tester since no component inside can be
user-repaired. Any attempt to repair the unit yourself can lead to voiding of the warranty.
◆ The tester should not be used in an environment with strong electromagnetic interference.
◆ Don't touch the tester with wet/sweaty hands or anything that could drip liquids onto tester.
◆ Do not use any harsh or caustic detergents to clean the tester. If dirt cannot be removed with a
slightly moist soft cloth, you can use water and a neutral detergent to wash off the dirt.
Digital Multi-meter use
◆ Before use, make sure you are selecting the correct input jack(s), function and range for what
signal you are trying to measure.
◆ Never exceed the protection limit values indicated in specifications for each range of
measurement.
◆ When the tester is linked to a measurement circuit, do not touch any unused terminals.
◆ Do not measure voltage if the voltage on the terminals exceeds 660V above earth ground.
